This site does not track visitors, sets no cookies of its own and asks you for nothing. Here is which services still process data, and why.
What this site does not do

Who is responsible
The operator of reindeertromso.com is responsible for data processing on this site and can be reached at info@reindeertromso.com.
Hosting on Cloudflare
The site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). With every request, Cloudflare processes technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser information. This data is used to deliver the site, protect it from attacks and bots, and keep it running. We do not use it to identify you or for advertising. The legal basis, where the GDPR applies, is our legitimate interest in a secure, available website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cloudflare may transfer data to the United States. Cloudflare participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, on which such transfers are based.
If bot protection is active, Cloudflare may set a technical security cookie such as "__cf_bm", which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. It is strictly necessary for the service, is not used for advertising or analytics, and therefore does not require consent.
Tour photos from GetYourGuide
Tour photos are loaded directly from GetYourGuide's servers (cdn.getyourguide.com). To display an image, your browser sends your IP address and the usual technical information to these servers, as with any website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing you the tour we describe (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
GetYourGuide widgets on the home page
On the home page we embed two GetYourGuide widgets: live availability for our pick and an overview of other activities in Tromsø. The provider is GetYourGuide Deutschland GmbH, Sonnenburger Straße 73, 10437 Berlin, Germany. When the home page loads, your browser fetches a script and content from GetYourGuide's servers and sends your IP address and technical information. The widgets contain our partner ID so that a booking can be attributed to us. GetYourGuide may use its own cookies or similar technologies; details are in GetYourGuide's privacy policy. We rely on our legitimate interest in showing you current dates and prices (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The guide pages contain no widgets.
When you click through to GetYourGuide
Our links to GetYourGuide contain a partner ID. On GetYourGuide, GetYourGuide processes your data and sets its own cookies, among other things to attribute a possible commission, according to its own privacy policy and your cookie settings there. We only receive aggregated booking statistics from GetYourGuide, never names or contact details.
When you email us
If you write to info@reindeertromso.com, we use your address and message only to reply to you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). We do not pass them on and delete them once the conversation is over, at the latest after one year.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you live in the United States, comparable rights may apply under the privacy law of your state. Simply write to info@reindeertromso.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the one where you live.
